Tools for debugging coredumps

+5
−0

For debugging running programs I often use whatever is integrated with the IDE I am using. QtDeveloper right now, but also used Eclipse, Netbeans and others. Most of them just use gdb under the hood though. Or I use gdb directly if working through a ssh connection or in an embedded system.

For debugging coredumps though I've only ever used gdb.

Are there other tools which may help in that task? Graphical UIs, ncurses...

I've tried gdbgui which works fine for debugging a running program started from it. But have not managed to load a coredump with it.
