How to find the existing default action for a UI gadget in factor

For a UI gadget like a $link in Factor, a click automatically opens the page that it points to. I want to know where this default behaviour is defined.

In the factor documentation, there are many places which I've checked so far:

But I'm unable to find where these things are used for the markup elements I want to modify, like $url and $link. Is there a word or just a way to grep that can help with this, finding gesture hooks for a UI/markup element?
