What is the policy regarding cross-posting here and on StackOverflow?

Is there an official, or unofficial site policy regarding cross-posting questions both here and on StackOverflow? I have not migrated myself from there to here (and, in fact, am not planning to do so in the immediate future), but I do want to contribute.

I guess with answers it should not be a problem, i.e. if one has an answer to a question here and to a similar question there, it's legitimate to post them on both sites. Plus, that situation is likely to come up less frequently.

(Sorry if this is a dupe, I'm still not quite on top of searching here)

Not a direct answer to the question, just a quick note to let you know that some people contribute to both SO and Codidact - you don't have to choose between them unless you want to. I'm not sure if there is a policy on posting the same question to both (hence this being a comment rather than an answer) but you can certainly be welcome in both places at once.

No, comments don't have votes here. That's by design, but you can raise on Meta any such choices you'd like to be different. I sometimes think I'd like to be able to vote on comments.
