python3 -m venv venv1
python3 -m venv venv2
source venv1/bin/activate
source venv2/bin/activate

Which venv(s) am I now in?

This is easily answered by just running the commands.

While I agree that the question can be answered with some simple experimentation (although it's not quite this straightforward), it points at a common misunderstanding that I feel is worth addressing in an answer. It might be possible to ask a better framing question later.

Fair point. If someone edits the question to instead say:

After running these, X happens, but I was expecting Y.

May be answered by running the commands, but I don't know what the information on the terminal means. Does being in venv2 mean that I'm not in venv1? p.s. thank you for saying why you downvoted
