Enabling 2FA should include some recovery codes

After enabling two factor authentication (2FA) for my account I'm only notified It is successfully turned On.

I think it should include some recovery codes as well (to be used in case I can't access my authenticator app, etc.).

  • So, is this feature somewhere (hidden) on my profile/account settings?

  • If no, is it planned to be included in a near future?

Setting up 2FA now produces a recovery code (with instructions to save it). If you later sign in using that recovery code, it disables 2FA until you re-enable it, getting a new code in the process.

If you were already using 2FA before we added recovery codes, you'll need to disable and re-enable it to get one. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
