  • I get the impression that there are two general types of contact forms:
  • 1. A **regular contact form** where all fields are in one webpage ; such form might be very long for a potential customer (including "too many" fields)
  • 1. A **"contact system"** where a user fills at least two pages, each one with one or more field/s
  • What is the single word terminology to describe these kinds of contact forms?
  • I would assume "simple" and "stepped" are god single word descriptions.

  • 1. A **"contact system"** where a user fills at least two pages, each one with one or more field/s (the first page leads to the second page in a pagination manner --- page 1/5)
  • What is the single word terminology to describe these kinds of contact forms?
  • I would assume "simple" and "stepped"; is there some standardization?

  • I get the impression that there are two types of contact forms:
  • 1. A **regular contact form** were all fields are in one webpage ; such form might be very long for a potential customer (including "too many" fields)
  • 1. A **"contact system"** were a user fills in one or more field/s per webpage and is then taken to the next page; there could be **two or more pages with one or more field/s**.
  • What is the single word terminology to describe the two kinds of contact forms?
  • I would assume "simple" and "stepped" are god single word descriptions but I don't know what's actually common in the general programming literature.

What are the types of contact forms?
I get the impression that there are two types of contact forms:

1. A **regular contact form** were all fields are in one webpage ; such form might be very long for a potential customer (including "too many" fields)
1. A **"contact system"** were a user fills in one or more field/s per webpage and is then taken to the next page; there could be **two or more pages with one or more field/s**.

What is the single word terminology to describe the two kinds of contact forms?

I would assume "simple" and "stepped" are god single word descriptions but I don't know what's actually common in the general programming literature.
