How to display overlapped content in an e-mail

I do need to create an email template using components where the wrapped text left side (td - 50%) is overlapping with the image ( td - 50%) like Venn Diagrams... Not exactly but somehow...

I came to read some information about the overlapping content, but seems hard or not feasible or an old technique these days, but that's not too old in the email templating world :D

Do you know if there's a better way to work on such cases?

I don't understand your "Venn Diagram" explanation. Are you wanting the image behind the text?

If you mean wrapping around the image, you can do this: Instead of cells of a big table, put the image into its own table and align="right" the table. Then text will reflow around the table (even in yucky Outlook versions), just like it would if you had style="float: right;" it.

A picture would help to understand what you want.

Is it something like this fanciness Kevin demonstrates.
