I don't understand why American Virtual Cloud Technologies, Inc and other similar teeny cloud computing platforms still exist, and haven't either gone bankrupt, or been acquired by one of Big Tech's cloud computing gorillas like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure.

How does AVCT distinguish itself from Big Tech?

Unfortunately, this question is not about Software Development.

Mostly that they use software the same as you could install on a machine you own yourself.

@Alexei https://meta.codidact.com/posts/280153#answer-280153 confirms this is on topic?

@TechnologicallyIlliterate‭ No, it does not confirm. By "cloud technologies" we mean the part that is related to software development. E.g. how to configure some authentication service, user and access rights or a load balancer when using a cloud provider. As written, your question is more related to sales - product differentiation - than the technical part of cloud computing.
