How to plot in C++?

+0
−3

I was trying to plot using following lines in C++.

#include "koolplot.h"
int main()
{
   plotdata x(-6.0, 6.0);
   plotdata y = sin(x) + x/5;
   plot(x, y);
   return 0;
}

When I was trying to run the program then I got the following message

g++ -o plot plot.cpp
plot.cpp:1:10: fatal error: koolplot.h: No such file or directory
1 | #include "koolplot.h"
| ^~~~~~~~~~~~
compilation terminated.

I think I got the error cause koolplot.h isn't available in my system. How to install that? Or should I use something else to plot? I got the source code here.

...if the koolplot.h file is not in the same directory as the cpp file exhibiting the error. The concrete name of that setting depending on the actual IDE or compiler you are using (that setting is often named similar to "include dir" or "header dir").

This is some random library made by some random person and the link is dead. So unless you have the files on your harddrive, you can't use the lib.

Lundin‭ That link seems to be dead but http://www.koolplot.codecutter.org/ is up (yet). Not that I see a reason why OP should use such a thing when there are time-tested and reliable alternatives such as Gnuplot — not to say I have anything against Koolplot, but caution should be exercised when using new and mostly unknown software. I would not use that before auditing it.
