For someone who was familiar with C++ in the past and is coming back to it after a long break, what are some useful books that won't waste time with basics but will cover the new features of the most recent decades?

Wtf? He was asking for book recommendation on C++ which is directly related to software development. How exactly is this offtopic? I can see this topic under "Best Practice" category.

Trying to repeat the same thing happening over at Stack Overflow here isn't wise and will deter any visitors from coming here.
