I need to drop all of the stored procedures from my MySQL database before I recreate them. How can I do so?

The easy way is to run this query.
SELECT concat('DROP PROCEDURE IF EXISTS example_database.',routine_name ,';')
FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.Routines
WHERE ROUTINE_SCHEMA = 'example_database';
For each stored procedure the above select will return a line like,
DROP PROCEDURE IF EXISTS example_database.example_stored_procedure;
Then all you have to do is run the output and that will drop all of the stored procedures for that database.
